Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Paulie website terms and conditions, which will apply to your purchase of clothing, shoes, accessories and/or other goods from the Paulie website www.paulie.biz

The Website and Goods are provided by Paul Davis Retail Ltd, a company registered in England, registration number 05725040 and registered office located at c/o Portman Partnership, 36 Gloucester Avenue, London, NW1 7BB.

By purchasing Goods from www.paulie.biz you are agreeing to all of the terms and conditions. You are advised to read the terms and conditions before making a purchase.

The terms and conditions may be updated by us from time to time. The version that applies to your contract will be that published on the Website at the time you make your purchase. You are advised to check this page regularly to take notice of any changes we may have made to the terms and conditions.

Payment

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Delta, Switch, Solo and Visa Electron cards
  • The actual price charged to overseas Customers will be subject to the daily exchange rate applied by the customer’s credit or debit Card Company. Customers outside the United Kingdom will also be liable for any import duty, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. It is advisable to check the latest applicable local requirements before placing an order.
  • All prices are inclusive of VAT. Our VAT number is 877 6098 63.
  • You will be advised by email or telephone if we cannot process your order because either authorisation of your payment failed or if there are any items on your order that are out of stock. We will not provide substitute goods without your agreement.

Delivery

We will aim to despatch all orders to you within 48 hours of receipt of credit or debit card details, excluding weekends, public holidays and bank holidays. This is subject to credit or debit card clearance and availability of stock.

Please note that with europe and rest of the world deliveries, delays can occur in customs and these delays are beyond our control

All Goods will be shipped to Customers on a Special Delivery service with full insurance and the ability to track your package online included in the price, unless otherwise stated. Should the Customer require another option to receive their goods, please contact our Customer Services Department on enquiries@paulie.biz or + 44 20 8458 4422 immediately after placing your order with us.

All delivery times given on the Website or by email are estimates only.

Right of Cancellation

If you have purchased the Goods from the Website or by telephone, you have the statutory right to cancel the order under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000. These entitle you to a cooling off period of 7 working days from the date you receive our email confirming your order and giving you the information required by the Regulations.

During this period you can exercise your right to cancel by giving us notice in writing. An email to enquiries@paulie.biz is sufficient, or you can fax us on +44 20 8458 4452 or write to us by post at Paul Davis Retail Ltd, 794 Finchley Road, Temple Fortune, London, NW11 7TJ. No particular form of words is necessary, but the notice must indicate your intention to cancel the contract. You may also telephone our Customer Services Department on + 44 20 8458 4422 to confirm you are exercising your right to cancel, and they will advise you on the process, but will require your confirmation by notice in writing using one of the above methods.

You must return the goods to us at your expense. See the instructions below for returns by post or to our store. We will refund the cost of returning the goods if you are returning them because they are defective or otherwise do not comply with the contract.

Returns Policy

as an alternative to your statutory right of cancellation, if you are not completely satisfied with your Goods, you may return them to us undamaged, unused and in a saleable condition, together with a proof of purchase, within 14 days of the purchase date and you will be eligible for a credit note or refund. See the instructions below for returns by post or to our store. Credit notes will be sent to you free of charge. Refunds will be credited to your original method of payment.

Please note this contractual returns policy does not apply to::

  • Sales Goods (which cannot be returned and are not exchangeable).
  • Goods marked as faulty at time of sale.
  • Perfumery and swimwear (for reasons of hygiene).

This returns policy does not affect your UK statutory rights.

Returns by Post

Goods must be returned in a securely wrapped parcel to Paul Davis Retail Ltd, 31 Clifton Road, Maida Vale, London, W9 1SY, United Kingdom. Paul Davis Retail Ltd cannot be held responsible for Goods lost or damaged in transit, so we recommend you send the Goods to us by Registered Post. Customers are required to return unwanted Goods at their own cost.

Once Goods are received into our warehouse we will contact you within 48 hours and your refund will then be processed as quickly as possible.

Returns to our store

For your convenience, you may also return the Goods by taking them to one of our stores located at:

If you are returning the Goods to one of our stores, please ensure you have with you the card that was used to purchase the Goods. The cardholder of the card used to purchase the Goods online must also be present at the time of return to the store to accept the refund back on to their credit or debit card.

Faulty Goods

If you believe your Goods to be faulty, please contact our Customer Services Department on + 44 20 8458 4422 or enquiries@paulie.biz stating whether you require a refund or a replacement and we will arrange for the Goods to be picked up and delivered to us for examination prior to any decision being made.

If the product was faulty, a replacement will be sent to the customer. The new delivery cost will be covered by Paul Davis Retail Ltd. Alternatively, a refund will be made to the original payment method. The refund will be processed as quickly as possible.

Product Information

Paul Davis Retail Ltd makes every effort to ensure that all information on the Website, including description, price, display and colour of Goods, is as accurate as possible. However, as the actual colours you see will depend on your monitor, we cannot guarantee the colour you see on your monitor will 100% reflect the colour of the goods on delivery. All Goods are subject to availability.

All sizes are approximate, however we do make every effort to ensure the sizes are as accurate as possible. Please refer to the size guide for clarification.

Privacy Policy

Paul Davis Retail Ltd is committed to protecting the privacy of our site customers and visitors. We will not disclose any information about our customers to third parties except where it is part of providing a service to you in so far as delivery arrangements and carrying out necessary credit and other security checks.

We will use your personal data for the purposes of processing your order, payment and delivery. We may also from time to time send you email newsletters to inform you about our products, services and promotions from Paul Davis Retail Ltd. If you do not wish to receive email newsletters simply unsubscribe from the newsletter email at any time by sending an email to our Customer Service Department on enquiries@paulie.biz and in each case write “UNSUBSCRIBE” in the subject heading.

We comply with the standards, procedures and requirements laid down in the UK Data Protection Act to ensure that the personal information you give us is kept secure and is processed fairly and lawfully.

Law of Contract

These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. If you are not happy with the way we deal with any disagreement and you want to take court proceedings, you must do so within the United Kingdom (except if you live in another EU Member State, in which case you may take proceedings in the courts of that State).
